SUPERVISORY POLICE OFFICER

As a SUPERVISORY POLICE OFFICER, GS-0083-8, you will perform the following duties:
1. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. 2. Represents the Security Forces Flight with a variety of functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with the base community. 3. Performs and enforces the full range of police officer duties within the military facility. Incumbent has full powers of apprehension and detention which entails carrying a firearm, operating Security Forces vehicles and equipment, mirandizing suspects, preserving evidence and testifying in court as it pertains to enforcing regulations on a military installation. 4. Experience:
A National Guard Title 32 Dual Status applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. For the GS-08 initial appointment or promotion appointment, the applicant must have at least six months of working experiences and the successful completion of the Air Force Technical Training AFSC/Security Forces School. Experience:
Must have experiences in performing practical security force activities in direct support of the military weapon systems and physical security; law and order; and area security operations. The work experiences are in law enforcement, maintaining law and order, preserving the peace, and protecting life and civil rights within the jurisdiction of military installations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
