This is a one man show with no direct reports.
You will be responsible for safety and training for multiples plants.
Develop and maintain safety training material as needed.
Complete new hire safety orientation and related new-hire paperwork.
Distribute documentation to Human Resources as procedure dictates.
Assist with facility tours and presentations to outside groups as needed.
Facilitate plant safety Promote safety as a priority o Chair safety committee meetings o Conduct safety orientation for all new associates o Respond to safety incidents, assist in investigation including all required documentation o Assure programs are up-to-date (e.
g.
, SDS, update programs as necessary) o Discuss / recommend safety improvements with management Conduct forklift and crane training including classroom and OJT.
Ability to be work independently or a team environment.
Ensure safety training is provided to employees based on training packet requirements.
Other duties as assigned Required Experience High School Diploma or GED required Manufacturing Experience Previous experience with safety regulations and policies preferred Previous supervision experience preferred Requires knowledge of forklift operations and metal stamping, welding, and machine operation training requirements.
